These computer laboratories will serve to decrease spaces in access to gadgets and the Internet by providing public computer system access for individuals with impairments, Marylanders without permanent house (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning people. The program offers grants of up to $65,000 for up to 100% for the production, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer system labs/centers throughout Maryland.

Applications closed on November 29, 2024.$2 million is readily available for this program. The financing source for the program is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and all federal rules required of the financing apply to the program. The Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband is making up to approximately $11.8 million available through Connect Maryland's Network Infrastructure Grant Program Round 2.
