These computer system laboratories will serve to decrease gaps in access to gadgets and the Web by providing public computer gain access to for people with specials needs, Marylanders without irreversible house (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning residents. The program provides grants of up to $65,000 for approximately 100% for the creation, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The funding source for the program is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and all federal rules needed of the funding apply to the program. The Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband is making up to approximately $11.8 million offered through Connect Maryland's Network Infrastructure Grant Program Round 2.
