These computer system labs will serve to minimize spaces in access to gadgets and the Internet by offering public computer gain access to for people with impairments, Marylanders without irreversible home (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning people. The program provides grants of as much as $65,000 for approximately 100% for the development, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The funding source for the program is the American Rescue Strategy Act of 2021 and all federal rules needed of the funding use to the program. The Maryland Workplace of Statewide Broadband is making up to approximately $11.8 million available through Connect Maryland's Network Facilities Grant Program Round 2.
