These computer labs will serve to lower spaces in access to devices and the Web by providing public computer system gain access to for individuals with specials needs, Marylanders without long-term home (i.e. unhoused), veterans, and our incarcerated & returning people. The program provides grants of as much as $65,000 for up to 100% for the development, upgrade, and/or retrofit of computer system labs/centers throughout Maryland.

The funding source for the program is the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and all federal rules required of the funding use to the program. The Maryland Workplace of Statewide Broadband is making up to around $11.8 million available through Link Maryland's Network Infrastructure Grant Program Round 2.
